Dress code

  • No khaki, hunter green, or orange colored clothing
  • No skinny jeans, shorts, leggings, or other tight-fitting pants
  • No tank tops, halter tops, crop tops, or see-through tops
  • No low-cut tops or clothing exposing midriff/cleavage
  • No torn, ripped, or frayed clothing
  • No pajamas or flannel pants
  • No hoodies, sportswear, or logo/gang-related gear
  • No hats, bandanas, scarves, or hairnets unless for religious wear

You may bring

  • Valid government-issued photo ID (driver's license or ID card)
  • Small clear plastic coin purse (6"x10") for vending money
  • For infants: 1 small blanket, up to 3 diapers, 3 pre-mixed bottles, a small pack of wipes (20 or fewer), diaper rash ointment, a bib, and a spill-proof cup, all in a clear plastic bag no larger than 12"x12"
  • A coat or jacket if the weather requires it (no hoods; will be X-rayed and searched)

Not allowed

  • Cell phones, smart watches, fitness trackers, pocket knives, or handcuffs
  • Weapons, ammunition, or any object that could be used as a weapon
  • Electronic devices, games, or toys
  • Glass containers, cans, purses, wallets, or diaper bags
  • Cigarettes, e-cigarettes, alcohol, or drugs
  • Non-emergency medication (inhalers/nitroglycerin must be given to the Visiting Room Officer)

Good to know

ID requirements
All visitors must show a valid state driver's license or government-issued photo ID; visitors under 16 accompanied by a parent/guardian are exempt from this requirement.
Children
Children under 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult who is an approved visitor, and must be immediate family of the inmate or the visitor. Visitors ages 16-17 not accompanied by a parent or legal guardian need written parental permission on file before visiting.
Vending machines
Food and drinks are available only from vending machines in the Visiting Room; no outside food is allowed except approved baby items.
Money you may bring
No specific dollar limit is stated; visitors may carry a small clear plastic coin purse (6"x10") for vending machine purchases.
  • Arrive early: entry to the Visiting Room stops mid-morning until the 10:00am stand-up count clears (the document gives two slightly different cutoffs — see notes)
  • No entry for processing is allowed after 2:00pm
  • Lockers are available at the Front Entrance for visitors without a vehicle
  • Only one vehicle key is allowed inside
