Points / frequency: Inmates are limited to 8 social visits per month (visiting on federal holidays doesn't count toward this total). Up to 24 people total may be on an inmate's approved visiting list (a married couple counts as two), and a maximum of 6 visitors may be present at any one visit.
Visiting can be cancelled for lockdowns, weather or count problems. Call the facility the day before you travel.
Dress code
- No spandex, tight-fitting, or extremely loose-fitting clothing
- No shorts, camouflage, Capri pants, or skirts/dresses above the knee
- No sleeveless tops, tube tops, strapless tops, or see-through clothing
- No swimsuits, miniskirts, or clothing with graphic/offensive language
- No open-toe shoes, thongs, or sandals
- No soiled workout/gym attire
You may bring
- One small clear coin purse
- For infants: 8-10 diapers, 4 bottles of formula/liquid, a teething ring, up to two 16"x16" clear plastic bags, and a small hand-carried infant seat
- Emergency/life-sustaining medication (e.g., heart medication)
- Valid photo ID (state or federal issued)

- Diaper bags, strollers, or baby carriages
- Cell phones, pagers, laptops/computers, smart watches, or e-cigarettes

- ID requirements
- All visitors, except children under 16, must display valid photo identification (state or federal issued) before being permitted into the institution.
- Children
- All visitors except children under 16 must show valid photo ID. A television room, supervised by the visiting parent, is provided for children (inmates are not allowed in it). Visiting parents are responsible for their children's conduct at all times.
- Vending machines
- Vending machines are available in the Visiting Center. Inmates may not enter the vending area themselves; food bought there must stay with the inmate/visitors and cannot be carried back to housing.
- Money you may bring
- A small clear coin purse is allowed for vending purchases; no specific dollar limit is stated. Money cannot be left with staff for deposit to an inmate's account during a visit.
- The outside gate opens at 8:10 a.m. and the inside gate at 8:15 a.m., but entry depends on a clear institutional count — arrive early
- Once you leave the visiting area, that visit is over for the day — there's no re-entry
- Hobby-craft items made by the inmate are handed to approved visitors only Saturdays/Sundays 2:00-3:00 p.m.
- The whole Visiting Center is tobacco-free
