Weekend visiting alternates by the 5th digit of the inmate's register number: odd numbers visit on 'odd' weekends, even numbers (0 counts as even) visit on 'even' weekends. This doesn't apply to federal holidays.

Visiting can be cancelled for lockdowns, weather or count problems. Call the facility the day before you travel.

Dress code

  • No tight, transparent, or spandex/legging-type clothing
  • No tank tops, halter tops, or sleeveless shirts
  • No purses, bags, or watches
  • No hooded clothing; jackets and coats may not be worn into or during the visit
  • No torn/ripped clothing, plunging necklines, or wrap-around skirts
  • No khaki, camouflage, orange, or grey clothing
  • No hats, caps, or other head coverings
  • No open-toed shoes or Crocs; shorts must reach the knee (except children under 13)

You may bring

  • Valid state or government-issued photo ID
  • One clear plastic change purse (about 5"x8") with up to $40 in bills of $20 or smaller
  • For infants: a reasonable amount of diapers, wipes, a small blanket, and bottles/food carried in hand or in a clear one-gallon zip-lock bag (no diaper bag or stroller)
  • Attorneys may bring a briefcase, subject to search

Not allowed

  • Purses, wallets, briefcases, or bags of any kind (except attorney briefcases)
  • Playing cards, toys, newspapers, magazines, chewing gum, food items, tobacco, chapstick, or watches
  • Cell phones, car keys, or other personal items (must be locked in a vehicle or a storage locker)
  • Personal wheelchairs (an institution-provided wheelchair will be used instead)
  • Cameras or photographs of any kind

ID requirements
A valid state or government-issued photo ID is required for all visitors; visitors under 16 accompanied by a parent/guardian are exempt. For new commitments or holdovers without an approved visiting list yet, a birth certificate or other ID proving the family relationship may be used.
Children
Children under 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult; children under 13 are allowed to wear shorts. Parents/guardians are responsible for supervising children's conduct in the Visiting Room.

One clear plastic change purse (about 5"x8"); no more than $40 total, in bills of $20 or smaller.
  • Visitors may arrive at 8:00am to begin processing, 30 minutes before visiting starts at 8:30am
  • No entry or exit is allowed between 9:30am and 10:00am for the daily stand-up count
  • No visitors are admitted after 2:30pm
  • Do not park along Bureau Road; use the designated visitor parking area
  • Visits on federal holidays do not count against the monthly 6-visit limit
