Points / frequency: Monthly visiting points system; the document states different totals in different places (5 or 6 points/month for FCI, 6 for SCP). Weekday visits cost fewer points than weekend/holiday visits.

Visiting can be cancelled for lockdowns, weather or count problems. Call the facility the day before you travel.

Dress code

  • Tops must cover stomach, chest/cleavage, and back; no sleeveless, sheer, halter, or tube tops
  • Skirts/dresses no shorter than 3 inches above the knee
  • No spandex, leggings, form-fitting clothing, or clothing with holes
  • No orange or khaki-colored clothing
  • No hats or sunglasses inside the secure perimeter
  • No open-toed shoes

You may bring

  • Valid government photo ID (driver's license or state ID preferred)
  • One clear plastic cosmetic/change bag (max 4x6 inches)
  • Up to $20 in cash or one credit/debit card for vending
  • For infants: small clear diaper bag, sealed baby food/bottles, wipes, a small blanket, and a pacifier

Not allowed

  • Cameras, recording equipment, cell phones, watches, USB/electronic devices, pagers
  • Food, drinks, or gum (except sealed baby food/drinks)
  • Papers, packages, or gifts to exchange
  • Strollers or baby carriers
  • Hats and sunglasses

ID requirements
All visitors must present valid photo ID (driver's license, state ID card, or other official government ID).
Children
Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult family member on the approved visiting list.
Vending machines
Vending machines are for visitors; inmates normally can't buy from them, though staff may let an inmate retrieve items for an elderly/disabled sole visitor.
Money you may bring
Up to $20 in coins/$1-$10 bills, or one credit/debit card, per visitor per visit — for vending only
  • Do not arrive more than 30 minutes before your visiting period starts
  • Vehicles must stay in designated visitor parking and remain locked; you can't return to your car once the visit starts
  • Taxi service is the only public transportation option to the institution
  • SHU/segregation visits are non-contact, video-based, and on a set weekend schedule
