Visiting can be cancelled for lockdowns, weather or count problems. Call the facility the day before you travel.

Dress code

  • No camouflage; no khaki (at the FCI) or olive drab (at the FPC) colored clothing
  • Shorts no higher than 3 inches above the knee; dresses no shorter than the back of the knee, no sundresses
  • No low-cut, see-through, tube/tank/halter/crop tops, backless clothing, or swimsuits
  • No sweatsuits or break-away pants; no open-toe shoes
  • No hats, bandanas, or scarves (except religious headgear); no wristwatches or electronic sport bands

You may bring

  • Valid, unexpired photo ID (driver's license, passport, or state ID)
  • Clear change purse, 8 inches or less in height and width
  • Up to $30 (bills no larger than $5) per adult visitor
  • Jewelry, except wristwatches/electronic sport bands
  • Clear diaper bag with up to 6 each: sealed formula/baby food, empty baby bottles, diapers, and one baby blanket

  • Food and beverages
  • Gifts or packages; money for an inmate's account
  • Pagers, watches/electronic sport bands of any sort

Good to know

ID requirements
Visitors 16 and older need satisfactory picture ID (current driver's license, passport, or state ID card); an expired ID is not valid.
Children
Children 15 and under do not count toward the 5-visitor maximum but must be supervised by a responsible adult; all minor children must be on the approved visiting list. Up to 20 people total may be on an inmate's approved visiting list.
Vending machines
Vending machines are for visitor use only; inmates are not authorized in the vending machine areas.

Up to $30 (bills no larger than $5) per adult visitor, per day

  • Front gate traffic stops at 9:30 a.m. for the 10:00 a.m. count; no admittance resumes until the count clears
  • Heavy winter coats/headgear are allowed after a physical search, hung on a coat rack during the visit
