Visiting can be cancelled for lockdowns, weather or count problems. Call the facility the day before you travel.

Dress code

  • No khaki or tan clothing (looks like inmate clothing)
  • No camouflage/military clothing (except active-duty Class A dress uniform)
  • No sleeveless, see-through, form-fitting, or low-cut/backless tops
  • Skirts and dresses must reach the knee when seated; no strapless
  • No shorts for adults (children may wear shorts)
  • No hats or caps (except for infants)
  • No open-toed shoes
  • No white T-shirts or shirts with logos, gang/club symbols, or offensive wording

You may bring

  • Valid government-issued photo ID (driver's license, state ID, or military ID)
  • Non-U.S. citizens: valid passport or state driver's license with photo
  • Small clear plastic bag/container (max 12in x 12in) for authorized items
  • Clear baby bottles (max two, 8 oz each) and diapers for infants
  • Wedding ring, prescription glasses, necklace, or religious headgear (only items inmate may keep)

Not allowed

  • Cell phones, cameras, tablets, or other electronic devices
  • Food, gum, or candy (except sealed infant formula/baby food)
  • Tobacco products and e-cigarettes
  • Handbags, sunglasses, reading material, photos, makeup, jewelry (other than wedding ring/religious medallion)
  • Strollers, carriages, and car seats
  • Weapons, pocket knives, or other dangerous objects

ID requirements
U.S. citizens: government-issued photo ID (driver's license, state ID, or military ID). Non-U.S. citizens: valid passport or a state driver's license with photo.
Children
Visitors under 16 must be accompanied by a parent, legal guardian, or immediate family member 18+, or have written consent. All visitors under 18 need a BP-629 form signed by a parent/guardian to be added to the visiting list. Only visiting children may use the playroom (no food/drinks there); inmates may not enter it.
Vending machines
Visitors may buy vending-machine items for the inmate to eat during the visit; items cannot be taken back into the institution afterward.
  • Visitors are not allowed to enter the institution before 8:00 a.m. on visiting days
  • Storage lockers are available at the Front Entrance for vehicle keys
  • Leave all non-authorized personal items in your vehicle
  • Vending machines are available in the visiting room for snacks/drinks
